I have worked with David Balls for 3 years as part of a multi-disiplinary team for Paediatric Physiotherapist's, Occupational Therapists and Speech Therapist's within an NHS setting.
Through working alongside David and having him as a Senior member of staff I have increased my knowledge and skills with working with children of all ages and with a range of conditions. He has built a large amount of experience and knowledge throughout his time specialising in Paediatrics.
David has amazing communication skills with children of all ages and is able to build a rapport easily with the children encouraging them to actively participate in the sessions as able. He always puts the child first and actively involves them and the family when setting goals and planning treatments. He will be thoroughly missed by staff, families and children.

Senior Paediatric Physiotherapist
We first met Jennie from Leigh Children’s Therapy just before Christmas 2013. Our daughter who was 11 was diagnosed with glandular fever and two other viruses. By the end of September 2013, she stopped walking. She was very weak, felt sick all the time and didn’t even have the energy to sit up. Jennie came to our home once a week as our daughter was housebound. She immediately built up a good rapport with our daughter- setting manageable targets for the week. Jennie was firm but gentle and soon got our daughter using crutches in February 2014 just in time for our first visit to Great Ormond Street Hospital. When we saw the consultant he said, “Whoever you’ve got as your physio, keep her. She’s doing a good job.”
Our daughter is in full time school now and in October half-term we all even trekked up Mt Etna! We can’t thank Jennie enough for all that she has done for our daughter.”
